Frequently Asked Questions
(11+ Mock Exams)

Why does my child need to sit mock exams?

An 11+ mock exam helps your child by:

  • Familiarising them with the time constraints of the real test.
  • Improving time management and building confidence under exam conditions.
  • Providing practise in a formal exam setting, which is crucial since children at this age are often unfamiliar with sitting exams, and this can cause anxiety and errors.
  • Identifying strengths and weaknesses to focus their preparation.
  • Allowing them to learn from mistakes and track progress over time.

It’s a valuable tool to boost readiness, ease nerves, and reduce exam-day stress!

Can my child attend more than one mock test day?

Yes! Attending multiple sessions can be highly beneficial. The first session helps your child become familiar with the testing process, while subsequent sessions allow them to focus on improving specific areas.

Each of our papers is uniquely labelled (e.g. Paper A, Paper B, etc.), ensuring that your child encounters fresh content during every session. This approach maximises the effectiveness of repeated practice and helps track their progress over time.

What happens on the day of the mock test?

Our 11+ mock exams replicate the conditions of the real tests. Each event features tailored papers written specifically for that session. Your child will sit these tests under timed conditions, just as they would in the actual 11+ exam.

What must my child take to the mock test session?
